Spicy Chicken Livers (With Video)

Dearest Reader,

Due to my anaemia, my nutritionist recommended that I eat more chicken livers as they are a good source of iron. You don't need an excuse to eat chicken livers though. Chicken, Roasted Veggies and Couscous

Dear Reader,

Due to my restrictive diet, I will not have the couscous with this meal, but I shan't make my problems yours. It's an easy way to cook because I just let the oven do the cooking. I had vegetables to get rid of before they got soggy and old, so I used bits that might not traditionally go together. You don't have to use the veggies I used. You can use any veggies you like, as long as you involve carrots, red bell peppers, green onions (or any onion you desire). The rest is up to you.

Another easy and delicious recipe I made today is for dinner or lunch. Because I have a limited diet with Metabolic Balance, and strict rules to follow, I can not cook what I normally would make. So, I am using my cooking experience to make Metabolic Balance fun and delicious.

This recipe will go with any protein you want, whether it is beef, chicken, or fish. It's a lovely way to compliment your protein. I will eat this with ham today. You can have it alone (vegetarian) also.

For an easy, yet special lunch, make yourself a protein packed frittata and make it special with the type of veggies you put in it. Then, serve it with a salad and you're good to go. Use two eggs per serving and use 140g of vegetables per serving. You can do the Math on how much you need according to your needs, but here is a recipe for 3 to 4 people.

Breakfast: Oatmeal and Prunes with Milk.

Dearest Reader,

The easiest and quickest, hot breakfast in the world is that of oatmeal. Get yourself organic products to boot and you are sure to feel satisfied and happy all the way to lunch time. Yes, this can and will fill you up for 5 hours!

I do oatmeal (55g) with Sheep's Milk (210ml) and Dried Prunes (45g) for sweetness. You can substitute the prunes with any other fruit you wish, like dates or mangoes, but dates are too sweet.

Bean Curry For A Cold Day!

Dearest Reader,

I love curry! I am obsessed with curry, in fact. Therefore, to celebrate the reintroduction of oil into my diet after a 14 day, no oil, Phase 2 of Metabolic Balance, I thought I should treat myself. I served the curried beans (85g) with wonderful zucchini (120g)  and for dessert I had some mango (180g). The bread (10g) is optional on my plan, but to be quite honest, one doesn't need bread.
